When you email yourself an article or ebook from one of the library databases you may open it from any computer.  If you are off-campus when you open the file you will be asked for a username and password.  For this you need your AU username and password (the same one you use for email, campus computers and Moodle).

If you still cannot open the link to the article or ebook you may not have sent yourself the correct link.  See this image for reference:

If your emailed link will not work you may need to "re-find" the item by opening the database (off-campus you will still need your AU username and password) and searching for the title of the article or ebook.
