No, you cannot request every article from a journal issue with Interlibary Loan.

When an Interlibrary Loan (ILL) request is made, Phillips library pays the fees incurred by lending institutions as well as the Copyright Clearance Center. Even when we pay all associated fees, there are restrictions governing how many articles we can request because of copyright laws.

General guidelines assert that patrons may request:

  • 1 article from a single issue published in the last 5 years
  • 5 articles per any journal published in the last 5 years

If your request exceeds these guidelines, please contact a librarian for assistance.
