To determine if the Phillips Library has your article, follow these steps:
From the Phillips Library homepage click on "Search".
You will need the complete citation for the article you are looking for. The complete citation includes author, title of article, title of journal, volume/issue numbers and page numbers.
If you have the complete citation:
- Look for the box titled "Articles: Journal Search" on the right side of the page
- Enter the journal title where your article is published
- Click on the database that provides access to that journal, and be sure to make sure the publication date ranges is correct for the article you are looking for
- Find the publication year for when your article was published and click on the year
- Find the volume/issue number and click when you have found its match
- Find the specific article to access the full-text of your article
If none of the databases we subscribe to has the journal you are looking for we can request the item from another library. Email the entire citation along with your full name, email and AU ID number to docdel@aurora.edu
If you do not have the complete citation:
- Try to follow the above steps as far as you can to reach a database that allows you to search within the specific journal
- Use the Quick Search feature on the Search page, there are two tabs for EBSCO and ProQuest databases, you may need to try searching both
- Contact a librarian using the "Ask Us" or chat button
